Over $3 billion worth of economy activity is tied to the Port of Cleveland. Through the International Visitor Leadership Program, port operators, managers, and engineers from Indonesia will have an opportunity to visit Cleveland’s freshwater port and examine effective management of port operations. Visitors will also meet with developers and trade experts to see firsthand how the port provides jobs and enhances the economy of Northeast Ohio.

International Visitor Leadership (IVLP) Program

Each year, over 300 professionals from around the world visit Northeast Ohio through IVLP. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, these visitors have been identified by U.S. embassies as emerging leaders in their fields. Over 50 Nobel Laureates and 335 current or former Chiefs of State or Heads of Government are alumni of this program.
