India will become the world’s most populous nation within the next five years. Within ten to fifteen years, India will become the world’s third largest economy. As a result, much of the world continues to wonder when India will take a larger place on the global stage. In particular, the United States has long sought a deeper relationship with India, as the U.S. continually seeks new partners to face emerging security and economic challenges across Asia. Is there a clear path forward for further cooperation between India and the U.S.? Join us on February 12, as senior adviser Richard Rossow from the Center for Strategic and International Studies dives into India’s future and changing alliances.
Richard Rossow is a senior adviser and holds the Wadhwani Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Mr. Rossow has committed much of his professional career to promoting business and economic engagement between the U.S. and India and has been with CSIS since 2014.
