Join the Cleveland Council on World Affairs for an hour-long virtual session on issues of immigration and global migration. We invite middle school and high school teachers (grade 7-12) to participate in the session and explore the history of immigration to the United States and current U.S. policy, as well as the issue of the global refugee crisis. We will share lesson plans, resources, and tools for educators to address this challenging topic in their classrooms. The workshop is appropriate for middle and high school history, social studies, and humanities teachers, including AP and IB educators.
Admission: This is a free event but registration is required.
